How Greenland Market Started Out
Greenland Foods Company (Greenland Market) is a community-leading company in the Korean-American food industry. In 1976, Dai Woo Meat Company was established and was the starting point for today’s Greenland Foods Company. In 1991, we changed our name to Greenland Foods Company to reflect the addition of fresh produce and other food products to our business.
In 2001, we opened our second location in Rowland Heights, California. Greenland team members are working hard to put fresh food on the tables of each household.
Greenland has over 370 employees working with pride to operate a business that thinks about the consumer first.

Rowland Plaza Shopping Center has been serving the Rowland Heights area since the 1960's, and is family owned. We have the best Korean Grocery Store around (Greenland Market) and a full service Rite Aid. We are a proud member of the Rowland Heights local merchant community, and take every opportunity to interact with our customers as we provide them with the freshest food and newest products. We have a wide selection of quality products and services that we’re sure you’ll really like. Unlike many shopping centers in the area, parking is easy, so stop by to visit!
